Raglan-based Reiki Ruawai releases the sunshine-soaked ‘Miller’.
Infused with the feel-good vibes synonymous with the sleepy surf-town, ‘Miller’ is an effortlessly smooth track showcasing Reiki’s talent. With soulful lyrics ebbing over wavey production, ‘Miller’ is a vibey track that radiates positivity.
Written and produced during lockdown with the help of Reiki’s dad, Brian Ruawai (Cornerstone Roots) the song captures the feeling of a warm Raglan summers day.
Speaking on the track Reiki explains, “Miller is about how the summer days are over and we go into our dull winter moments but can’t wait until the summer is back around.”
Accompanying the song is a minimalistic one camera video shot at a local Raglan cafe.
With more in store for Reiki, stay tuned for more feel-good vibes from the Raglan artist.
